How to convert characters to uppercase or lowercase in Ubuntu text editor

Is there any shortcut to convert all characters in the Ubuntu text editor to either lowercase or uppercase?

In the Ubuntu text editor, press these keys for lowercase and uppercase:

  • Convert to uppercase: Ctrl + U
  • Convert to lowercase: Ctrl + L
