How to open a port for TCP on Oracle Free tier instance ?

I installed the HestiaCP control panel on an Oracle Free tier instance. The HestiaCP control panel is installed on port 4567. It seems that this port is blocked for TCP connection, and hence, I cannot access the control panel from a browser. There is no obvious way on the Oracle Free tier instance to open a port. Where is it hiding, and how can I open this port?

I agree that there is no obvious way to do all these basic setups on the Oracle Free tier page. However, you can open the required port using their UI.

Here are the steps:

• Log into your Oracle Free tier instance using their website.
• Once you're on the instance page, you'll see a section called 'Instance details'. Under this, you'll find a link next to 'Virtual cloud network:'. Simply click on this link to access the 'Virtual Cloud Network Details' page.
• On the left side, you will find a menu for "Resources." In that list, click on the link to "Security Lists."
• On the "Security Lists" page, click on the link to "Default Security List" for your virtual cloud network (VCN).
• On the "Default Security List" page, you will see several Ingress Rules. On this page, click on the "Add Ingress Rules" button.
• Enter the following details on the "Add Ingress Rules" page and click the "Add Ingress Rules" button.

Source Type: CIDR

Source CIDR: 0.0.0.0/0

IP Protocol: TCP

Source Port Range: All

Destination Port Range: 4567

That's it. Wait for a few minutes and you should be able to access the HestiaCP from a browser.
